Advantages: Drastically reduces time to tidy manes and tails, painless. Disadvantages: None.
...A pulled tail looks smart but is high maintenance as when the hairs grow they can resemble a loo brush and it is difficult to remove them when they are too short. The smart tails mane and tail thinner makes a smart tail without much effort or discomfort for the horse. What is it?

I will only briefly describe how to use on the mane seeing the tail is the focus of this review. For the mane, brush it to the wrong side and then take the smart mane and tail thinner and use it as you would an ordinary comb. Comb the mane over to the correct side to check the thickness. It removes the hair really quickly so don`t be tempted to do it too much in one go. ...
Advantages: cheap and easy to apply Disadvantages: might need to buy a brush to apply
Firstly the picture is wrong - this is a picture of saddle soap not the hoof oil which is liquid and comes in a tin container.
This product has been going for many years at least 30 and is the traditional style hoof oil and that is why I prefer it. Many of the modern versions are solid so quite hard to apply and very expensive.
This is made from vegetable oils and you can get it in two colours black and natural. I have natural. Its cheap at about ... ...more if you dont use it every day - I don't I use it about once a week, more in the summer if I am going to competitions and when its hot and his hooves get a bit dry.
If you buy it if you do not already have one you will need to buy a brush to apply it you can use a small paint brush or buy a hoof oil brush from the tack shop neither of which are expensive.
The hoof oil makes my horses hooves look smart and conditions them too. It is very easy ...

Champion Tails is the name of the shampoo and conditioner. It does not mean that you can only use it on the tail. It is available in several colours and sizes. This is on the expensive side, but a lot are this price and sometimes it is better to pay more if the quality ... ...it through and apply the Champion Tails conditioner. The conditioner claims to condition and create extra body to the tail and fulness by seperating strands, fluffs hair, provides bulk and revitalises the hair. The reason I do it twice is that it seems to achieve excellent results. I am not saying that the results ...
Advantages: Minimises wastage Disadvantages: Horses manage to pull all the hay through the hole!
...solution!
I came across the cottage craft feed bag and thought it might solve all my problems!!
It opted for the large as both my horses are over 16.2hh! and eat alot of hay and hayledge and it seemed to be ideal.
The price wasnt too bad for something which was going to be an experiment so I bought two, they only came in green which was a bit poor considering cottage craft have been going for years and yet you had a choice of one colour!
It is ... ...and they werent hard to fill which saves a bit of time as normal haynets can get knotted.
However, my horses managed to pull out their hay all in one go it seemed through the hole which was annoying and I had to keep re-filling it!
I now keep them for the horsebox as it does minimise wastage in there.
I would suggest it to somebody to use in a trailer or horsebox but for everyday use I think Im just going to stink to a small holed haynet! ...
