are perfect, andSome Like It Hotis one of them. In Chicago, during the Prohibition era, two skirt-chasing musicians, Joe and Jerry (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon), inadvertently witness the St Valentine's Day Massacre. In order to escape the wrath of gangland chief Spats Colombo (George Raft), the boys, in drag, join an all-woman band headed for Florida. They vie for the attention of the lead singer, Sugar Kane (Marilyn Monroe), a much-disappointed songbird who warbles "I'm Through with Love" but remains vulnerable to yet another unreliable saxophone player. (When Curtis courts her without his dress, he adopts the voice of Cary Grant--a spot-on impersonation.) The script by director Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond is beautifully measured; everything works, like a flawless clock. Aspiring screenwriters would be well advised to throw away the how-to books and simply study this film. The bulk of the slapstick is handled by an unhinged Lemmon and the razor-sharp Joe E. Brown, who plays a horny retiree smitten by Jerry's feminine charms. For allthe gags, the film is also wonderfully romantic, as Wilder indulges in just the right amounts of moonlight and the lilting melody of "Park Avenue Fantasy".Some Like It Hotis so delightfully fizzy, it's hard to believe the shooting of the film was a headache, with an unhappy Monroe on her worst behaviour. The results, however, are sublime. --Robert Horton
that. It's fair to say thatHot Fuzzproves that Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright's brilliantShaun Of The Deadwas no one-off, serving up a superbly crafted British homage to the Hollywood action movie.Deliberately set in the midst of a sleepy, quaint English village of Sandford, Pegg's Nicholas Angel is sent there because, bluntly, he's too good at his job, and he's making his city colleagues look bad. The proverbial fish out of water, Angel soon discovers that not everything in Sandford is quite as it seems, and joins forces with Nick Frost's lumbering Danny Butterman to find out what's what.Hot Fuzzthen proceeds to have a rollicking good time in both tipping its hat to the genre films that are clearly its loving inspiration, and coming up with a few tricks of its own. It does comedy better than action, with plenty of genuine laugh-out-loud moments, but it's no slouch either when the tempo needs raising. One of the many strong cards it plays is its terrific cast, which includes former 007 Timothy Dalton, Bill Nighy, Bill Bailey, Paddy Considine, Edward Woodward and Jim Broadbent.Hot Fuzz, ultimately, just falls short ofShaun Of The Dead, but more than does enough to warrant many, many repeat viewings. It's terrific fun, and in the true hit action movie style, all-but-demands some form of sequel. That said, with Pegg and Wright now with two excellent, and suitably different, genres ticked off, it'll be interesting to see what they do next. A period drama, perhaps...? --Simon Brew

Advantages: Comfortable, warm, large pockets Disadvantages: Bulky
.... It is also highly breathable and extremely efficient at moving moisture away from the skin.
MY EXPERIENCE:
I have the 'Special 6'. The '6' comes in Cobalt, NATO Green (standard purchase for many army types) and Black. I have worn my '6' in many environments(Scotland/Wales/Lakes (winter & summer), French/Austrian Alps, Atlas mountains, Rockies etc), mostly for mountaineering and have been very pleased with it's performance every single time. It is instantly warm when you put it on and is comfortable to wear for the entire day. You can 'lock-down' the cuffs, neck and waist to keep warmth in, or 'break-out' by opening the full-length side zips and chest zip to cool off. The '6' differs from the standard shirt in that the back is longer than the front, giving your bum a bit of insulation when you sit down for a rest. The chest pocket...

Advantages: Fore front in putters Disadvantages: quite expensive
...it straight when coming in contact with the ball, if you catch the ground slightly it can wabble and often this effects the ball strike so in effect you hit the ball skewwiff!
Now the White Hot is a special putter, as all Odyssey putters they are well balanced, so if you imagine a pendullam it sways back and forth in a perfect line, this is what the rossie does. Other Odyssey putters have imaginary white balls behind the face so gives you a better line to look at. The Rossie does not have these white balls to help you instead you have 2 lines that give you a look at the line you are aiming for, once the ball is in front of the face you have around a 5 inch 'line' to give you a guide to where you are aiming the ball. The feel is great in the past ive often hit the ball some 2 feet short on occasions due to the 'feel', the odyssey is easy to use...

Advantages: Top quality kit Disadvantages: Nothing at all
....
The frame itself is all well finished to. The welds are pretty big but that's Aluminium for you. Its apparently made from M4 aluminium which is one of Specialized's innovations. This makes it lighter and stronger than previous years models. You also get a replacable rear gear hanger. If you have ever bent one of these then you will know that this is well worth having.
FORKS
I don't claim to know much about suspension forks, I normally buy them and see how I go. The Rockhopper comes with RockShox Recon 335 SL. I think these are new for this year. I have to say that they ride very well. The action when you hit a tree root is very smooth and a lot better than the forks they fit to the lesser models. They quote 100mm of travel on these forks, again I have to say that I would reckon you could get close to that. Most forks never get close...
