...Last summer I returned home from my student life with a true need for exercise, no desire to feel the burn but I had joined a sports team and was determined to make it on to their first squad by september as well as shift the extra pounds univeristy life had given me. To set the picture quite clear I am stoutly built and had prevuiously never played any sport at all. I returned to live with my mother who suffers from arthritis and has done no sport and has constantly been on a diet since my birth 18 years ok.
My brother forced us to go to the gym one sunday and we were literally dragged by our hair into the reception. It was not crowded or cluttered. In fact, players like Sergio Garcia and Tiger woods have done a lot to popularise it with the younger set. When im at my local driving range, it always shocks me as to how many children are playing.
However, good golf clubs cost some serious money. A set of good quality irons will set you back many hundreds of pounds.
Or so I thought.
