I don't wear contacts very often. I have the one-a-day disposable types that I wear on special occasions or when on holiday. When I do wear contacts, I find that towards the end of the day my eyes start to feel tight and quite tired. Disposable contact lenses shouldn't be worn for more than 7 hours at a time, but sometimes when you're out and about it is difficult to change them so the contacts start to dry your eyes out. For situation like these I used to carry a bottle of eye-drops, which worked a treat in soothing my eyes and making dried out contacts easier to remove. However the frustrating thing for me was that the eye drops, once opened, must be used within a month. I never wear contacts enough times to get through even half a bottle so this was such a waste.

Also, there is no obligation to stay with them or even buy lenses from them, should I decide I didn't want to.) which I found very useful.
I was quite nervous, but they were very friendly and helpful. My only recomendation is to take sun-glasses, as when they send you out for 15 minutes to walk around getting used to having lenses in your eyes it can seem very bright.
