JML Fresh Air Globe
I bought this when I was ill with a sinus type bug because I had the heating on all the time and the air seemed really dry. All of the other air purifiers were really expensive and this appeared to do much the same as they promised. Yes I should have known better but I was ill at the time?
How it works
The idea is that by swirling water around (or something more scientific but swirling is what it looks like), particles will be filtered out of the air and deposited in the water bowl leaving you with cleaner, fresher air. It claims to remove pet odours, harmful bacteria and neutralise other odours. The unit comes in three parts - the base with light & power switch, the water globe and the lid. There is a vent on the lid of the globe from which the air (and I assume the water particles) are emitted.

So you are thinking about a MacBook Air? At over $1700/£1200 even for the entry level it's not an impulse buy, so it is good to think through the pros and cons of this machine to decide if it is really right for you.
PROS:
1. THE LOOK: It's cool. Really, seriously cool. It's incredibly thin and light, so thin you could put it in an envelope and post it. There is no better machine to carry around if you want to impress your colleagues. At its thinnest it is only 0.16" thick.
2. THE HARDWARE: It comes with Core2Duo (a choice of 1.6 or 1.8Ghz) and 2GB RAM which is what most of us need, plus a good standard of video card and a 64GB solid state drive.
3. THE FEATURES: The MacBook Air comes with the built in wireless card you would expect, a built-in web cam and Bluetooth. A backlit keyboard and a brilliant big touch pad mean you ...
Advantages: Light fragrance, smells nice. Disadvantages: None for me, I like it. Won't suit everyone.
I have just received a package in the post this morning and I'm really excited because it's the Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue perfume I ordered just 2 days ago after reading a review on Ciao!
THE PACKAGING
The box is a light blue colour, quite appropriately! It appears to have a suede-like texture and is very plain with silver writing. The outer cellophane is sealed with a round silver sticker with Dolce & Gabanna printed across it in blue writing the same shade as the box. Look reassuringly expensive so far!
On opening the cellophane, the suede-feel box is gorgeous and very different. I like it.
