Wonderful walking boots for snow-terrains

Advantages: Comfortable, warm, suitable for the purpose
Disadvantages: Only really useful in snowy / icy weather

on the snow. 6. They need to be adjustable, so that you can easily loosen them to put them on / remove them. 7. If possible, there should be a pull-string round the ankle, so that a snug fit can be achieved, preventing snow from slipping inside your boots. 8. If possible, they need to look stylish, smart enough to wear round town as well as when striding across snow-covered terrain. 9. They need to be affordable, good enough to meet the purpose without breaking the bank. My solution? I have invested in a pair of Hi-tec St. Moritz 200 brown / cream boots, which I bought at the local Outdoor shop. I recommend that you buy them at a specialist outdoors shop, so that you can try them on with suitable socks, to check their fit and level of comfort. It is a good idea to try on a pair one size larger than your normal shoes. They ...

Review of Hi Tec Ladies Snow Terrain Boots

Hi-Tec 4 SYS Badminton Shoes - good for basic needs player.

Advantages: Excellent grip and very light.
Disadvantages: Narrow shoe.

Overall these are very decent shoes for the money. Great grip on court and very light. Though you have a wider foot, like myself, these shoes are not for you. They are quite narrow and take some stretching. Order a (UK) half size larger than you are usually for best fit. I've been playing a regular 6 - 9 hours a week for 6 months while wearing these shoes and they have fared quite well. With all the stop/start and lunging and jumping movements of playing badminton the "High Tec" logo has come away from the shoe (where it is glued) and the stitching has begun to split away from the logo. This is probably just wear and tear from regular/hard usage. I'd recommend these shoes for a badminton player of good ability but someone who only plays 3-4 hours per week. ...

Review of Hi Tec 4 SYS Mens Badminton Shoes

A rarity but a gem

Advantages: pick-up, power, distance hitting.
Disadvantages: Rare, premiums in UK very high

This bat has got to be one of the best bats I have ever played with! Of course every bat one buys is different and I would never recommend a bat of any type to another player, as one bat does not suit all, but the bat ihsan sent me all those years ago when this bat was available was outrageously good. Ihsan bats are made in the sub continent, where a great deal of international players bats are made, so you can be assured that whilst the quality may not be as high as handmade english bats, the price will more than make up for it. So if you could possibly pick one of these up from india or pakistan then the price you pay would be greatly reduced than if you bought it from an english shop who will whack a high premium on these bats. This bat is the stereotypical sub continent bat with a low middle and a large bowed blade that ...
