I've had this cricket bat for over four years now and it's surved me well over the seasons.
I can proudly say that it has no cracks and it's still in good condition, due to the fact that i have oiled it over the cricketing seasons to make it more durable.

The Ihsan Rocky bat is a powerful bat and is also heavy, close to 3lbs, the side of the bat is very thick, which makes it very powerful.

Due to these qualities of the bat the Rocky is hard to control, which is why i put another grip on the bat to try and strike a balance between handle and bat.

Compared to other bats that i have used like the Hunts county Insignia and the Ihsan hi-lux this bat is much heavier than them, but im sure you can get the Ihsan Rocky a bit lighter in some shops, the one i've got is a heavy one.

The Ihsan Rocky is the most powerful bat i have ever used which is why it has a super middle, so you don't have to use much force to hit the ball over the boundary. The weight of the bat makes it difficult to hook and pull the ball, but it's much easier to cut and drive the ball with this bat.

The design of the bat makes it look like it's made for the big hitters, like the length of the handle which is not long, the face of the bat is wide, the side of the bat is thick and overall it looks a bit chunky.

If you are new to cricket and are looking for a bat, i recommend you not to buy this bat as you may struggle to control this, but if you are a strong well established player/batsmen then this bat is worth thinking about, overall if i had to make a recommendation for this bat then i would recommend it .

It is hard to find the Ihsan Rocky bat in sports shops, as i was given mine from overseas. Ihsan is not as well known as other manufacturers like Gray-Nicholls, Slazenger, Kookaburra etc, so this could be the reason.

The good thing about the bat is that it is cheaper than other leading brand cricket bats, whose bats can go in excess of £130, so in terms of value for money this bat is well worth it.

BAT INFORMATION:
  • Price range £50 - £80
  • Made in Pakistan
  • Made out of willow
  • Used by South African cricket players

Not really into playing cricket myself, but from what I know about the sport this seems like quite a good bat. Nice op. Rich
