Save up for a few months and you can buy yourself a top of the range cross trainer which is just as good if not better then what your gym has already.

The infiniti trainer is brilliant, its the smallest available which does the job, its programs are perfect and the actual workout is second to none. The machine currently sits in my bedroom, standard 4mx4m size and doesnt take up much room at all. Having this in my bedroom is so convenient, if I get home from a hard stressful day at work I just jump on it for 30 mins and watch a bit of tv whilst doing so.
The ellipitical cross trainer is basically the best machine on the market to get you in shape or keep up your fitness levels, the cross trainer works your entire body due to the motion of swinging your arms and legs at the same time. Running machines are useful for long distance running training, but how many of us require that? Rowing machines are very large and very expensive and pedal machines just dont do they required workout on the body needed.
If your looking to shed a few pounds then a cross trainer is proven to do the job, you will notice in gyms that the large amount of treadmills are been replaced slowly with ellipitcal trainers due to there superior body workout. Couple this with a light jog every few days and a healthy diet and you will soon see the advantages I promise you!
The machine took me about 20 minutes to build up and is light enough to move around the house by yourself. I would suggest purchasing some mats to lay down under the machines legs if placing on carpet just to protect against ware over long period of time.
I bought this for £199 from a local gym equipment store I have also seen a few on internet auction websites going for £175 new, thats a bargain!
