Value for Money
Review of Inliners Aggressor by
Dred
Advantages: smart, safe, cheap. Everything you really need!
Disadvantages: Not as comfortable as most skates and some parts are a bit plastic looking
Inliners are a UK inline skate company. They may not have the reputation or the name brand image of some of the other skate companies, but Inliners are unbeatable on their skate prices.
You can get a pair of Inliners aggressive skates for about £30-40. They are good skates if you are a beginner or if they are for a child skater. They have all of the 'accessories' of some of the larger skate companies but not of the same standard. I wouldn't recommend ...

Heelys - freedom is a wheel in your sole
Review of Heelys Inline Skates by
milburn987
Advantages: fun, something different, comfortable
Disadvantages: a bit pricey, takes practice
Heelys are the trainers with the wheel in the heel which were invented by a (now very rich) man called Roger Adams They have been popular in America for a few years and they even have Heelys pro teams as a lot of the skateboarders have got into it. Heelys only really became popular in the UK at the end of last year and everywhere you go it now seems there are kids flying around on them. However its not just kids who buy them, trust me, i work in ... ...and also to turn the Heelys into normal trainers but you can walk in Heelys in between skating with the wheels left in in a similar way you would walk in heeled shoes with the weight on the front of the shoe. With the single wheeled versions of Heelys you get a plug which will fit into the gap left by the wheel and you also get a tool to remove the plug, however Heelys do not currently make plugs to fit the two wheeled verion of Heelys but the wheels ...

The most Amazing shoes Ever!!
Review of Heelys Inline Skates by
Paigeoleary
Advantages: Cool like everyone else !
Disadvantages: you can fall over easy if your not careful
Heelys are the most latest shoes out with wheels in the shoes but are very dangerous in some ways but have to be very careful. you can get all sorts of heelys but be warned you can get fake heelys and real heelys but the fake heelys have got plastic wheels and the real ones have got rubber wheels so the real ones go alot faster but some people still dont get it and the fake ones look alot horrible aswell.I must admit there nice and dangerous.
The ... ...~~Good stuff about heelys~~
heelys are the amazing cool shoes everyone is talking about and loads of people have got them.
people have got them so your not the only one that has them and you can skate around with them.
~~bad stuff about heelys~~
heelys are bad because you can fall over and hurt yourself ,
the back bit where you break gets all scuffed and holes so never break just run at the bottem of the hill so you dont fall.
most of the time ...

Was it just a fad?
Review of Heelys Inline Skates by
dickyj
Advantages: keep the kids happy
Disadvantages: they won't take them off
...my daughter a pair of Heelys for Christmas just gone.
This girl has had everything that is new to the market - portable dvd's, PSP, i-pods you name it, she's got it....or lost it!
Heelys were at the top of must have list of gifts for christmas and I must say, I just didn't get it - it would seem that I is no longer down wid da kidz!
A pair of rather cheap and ugly looking trainers (although not cheap - about £70) with a removal wheel in the heel ... ...wheels in the heel - apparently they are for dorks and babies!
Every so often I have to hold my hands up and admit I was wrong. this is one of those occasions. I was pretty sure that they would be dumped under the stairs by Boxing Day next to all the other latest things.
They are still glued to her feet almost 4 months later, trust me,it may not sound like a long time but that is impressive. In fact I am having to check that they still fit!! Also ...

Franklin Championship Steel Street Hockey Goal
Review of Franklin Championship Steel Street/Roller Hockey Goal by
24Sarthe24
Advantages: Lightweight and wheeled
Disadvantages: Totally unsuitable for competitive hockey
I'm the manager of an inline hockey team in the South of England. We've been using some very old goals with rotten and broken nets for many years. This has resulted in having to spend about an hour repairing the nets before every match. By the time a match or practice session has finished, the nets are ruined again. I managed to obtain a little sponsorship for our team and asked a local supplier to provide me with some goals and nets suitable for ... ...COMPETITIVE MATCH PLAY - they're rather important. The goals cost me £190 including delivery, which seemed reasonable.
They were delivered to the Recreation Centre where we play. A couple of the players (one of which is my son) made the goals up one evening - unknown to me, they arrived completely dismantled in many separate parts, with the nets to be added as well. In fact, one of the nets was already damaged in two places and would have had to ...
