Advantages: Perfect for mid-to-high handicappers Disadvantages: Looks
...I have played golf on and off for the last 15 years and in this time have never come across or played with any irons that have been well-suited to my game. This was until I purchased a set of Mizuno MX-17 (steel) irons in April 2005 for £349, replacing my ageing Progen's that had never really done me justice.
At first I thought that the Mizunos were slightly expensive, however after my first practice I could see why Mizuno had such a good reputation as iron-makers and so believed that the price was adequate. There was also the possibility of alternatively buying graphite shafts for £469 but I have always thought steel clubs are better suited to higher handicappers, like myself.
The long irons (3-6) feature a huge cavity pocket and low centre of gravity which provides a solid contact all over the club head, so making them extremely...

Advantages: Contains all the necessary nutrients and horses like it. Disadvantages: Very expensive.
...I have 2 horses and they are costly and time consuming though worth it. Feeding in winter increases making the costs increase, as horses need more hard feed (concentrated feed), as well as hay or haylage as the grass is less in winter and not as good therefore providing less nutrients. When feeding horses, it is essential to select the correct food for them. They need to maintain their weight, not be too fat or thin. They need to have the type of food suited to their temperament as some can make the horse too fizzy and even make them dangerous to ride if fed incorrectly. Other feeds may not be enough if the horse has no energy, they may need a bit more in their hard feed.

Advantages: Hits the ball a VERY long way. Keeps the ball straight. Disadvantages: Not a solitary thing.
...~ ~ Golf’s a funny old game, so it is. The margins between success and failure are very tight, and the result of a competition can often hinge on a putt of no more than 2 or 3 feet. But there’s one thing of which you can be certain; if you can’t consistently put the ball onto the fairway (short grass) with your driver off the tee then there’s simply no way that you’re going to score well on a regular basis.
A good shortgame (pitching and putting around the green) can go some way to compensating for a wayward driver, but if you put your drive into the rough grass more than onto the fairway, then you’ll record bad scores more often than you’ll record good ones.
~ ~ Alas, this has been the story of the mad cabbie’s golf game for about the last 4 years or so. Despite excellent iron play, superb pitching, and a (occasionally) hot putter...
