...I paid about £90 for this and bought it at the same time as getting a Powakaddy trolley. I decided to get a bag from the same manufacturer and I have to say that although it is early days in our relationship it is looking like great value. It's really well made and has that quality feel about it. Lots and lots of storage space, dare I say it possibly bordering on too much! It has full length clubdividers as well as a separate compartment on the side to stash your putter. I have only used it a couple of times so I cannot comment on its durability but I would be very surprised if it doesn't last an awfully long time. My advice? If you've bought yourself a quality powered trolley then don't spoil it by buying a cheaper bag....

Advantages: Spacious, good looking, durable, easy to handle. Well priced. Disadvantages: Not a lot!

~ ~ The bag is manufactured from a hard-wearing brushed nylon type material, and comes in basic black with a wide choice...

Several of my friends all use the new type of carrying strap which allows you to carry the clubs weighted equally over each shoulder which helps prevent possible back and shoulder problems caused by the traditional bag strap.
As I also required to buy a stand to prop up my new bag, I shopped around and eventually found the perfect solution. The Wilson Levitator.
It is a lightweight, graphite friendly bag which has a built in double shoulder strap and stand. It cost £79 from my local golf pro (he advised me this is quite a new and so far very popular design) I believe it comes in several different colour combinations although I did...

Catherine Cookson is, of course, one of our best-known and best-loved authors. I have enjoyed many of her books, and “A House Divided” did not fail to please. The novel centres on Capt.Matthew Wallingham, who is blinded during the last days of the Second more
