Jack Wolfskin Eclipse 2 person Tunnel Tent

Advantages: easy to put up, quality, size inside, price
Disadvantages: size when stored, no porch.

...I already own 2 "normal" tents, but went on a 7 day bike race where i needed to put up and take down the tent 7 days in a row. I splashed out £45 for a "pop-up" tent. The thought of it errecting itself was very appealing!! Sceptical at first, I popped the tent out of it's bag and pegged it down with 4 pegs.....job done......in about 60 seconds. I couldn't believe it could be so easy!!!! Once the tent is up it is like any other, with an inner and outer sheets (don't go for the cheap single skin ones). It has vent to help reduce condensation, although some did form, but then i've never been in a tent where there was no condensation!!! The one I have is a 2 man version which accommodates 1 person + luggage with ease and would accommodate 2 people with some luggage. Advantages: heat insulation
Disadvantages: breaks easily

...The Eureka solitaire tunnel tent is a reasonable tent to use when going camping as it is great at keeping in the eat with its very good insulation capabilities. These along with the waterproof material and the wind proof material is great as it really does help when wanting to spend a night out in the cold of the outdoors. However this tent even being able to be put up easily it does have an issue with breaking and the spines of the tent do snap and bend with extreme ease and so it is something to watch out for. The tent being made for two is just enough to fit 2 but it does however have little space for big bags pr food that is needed to be kept sheltered.... Read review

Advantages: lots of living space great head hight
Disadvantages: thin poles and unable to with stand wind! lots of movement

...my self and my parnter brought this tent because of the excellent amount of living space with a combined camping experience of over 30 years we both know how important putting the tent up just right really is, So after taking 2 hours to make sure that the tent was put up right it then collapsed with a gentle breeze tent poles snapped and ripped the tent ! would not advise this tent to anybody ! dont be taken in by the massive living space avoid at all cost ! The tent was fine in stormes however but useless in slight wind makes no sence at all! also the eyes put in the ground sheet do not match up so ok you have full ground sheet but then it not that full as there are lots of trip hazords....
