...Unfortunately I seem to have dirty hobbies. By that I don`t mean disgusting or kinkiy, just dirty as in mud. Not that much mud really, just muddy boots (usually). I often end up with muddy wellies or riding boots and to remove them I used to either get the door step muddy by using that or get my clean foot or slipper muddy by removing the remaining one when you have used your other foot for the first one. Some clever person obviously realised that boots can be difficult to remove if they are tight around the calf and don`t have a zip and invented the boot jack. ...golf where I tried a number of the hybrids out in the store, all very reasonably priced before eventually deciding on the Golden Bear ( Jack Nicklaus brand ) accu force hybrid which equated to a 5 iron. Since then I have discovered immense improvement in my game, hitting distance shots with loft not only from the rough or semi rough but also from the tee and fairway alike. The cost???? Just a mere £29.99p. An absolute bargain and a club I would recomend any beginner ofr high handicap golfer to go along to the store and try out for themselves, I am sure they will agree with me that it is a must have in the bag club.... Advantages: plenty of equipment, swimming pool, car parking

...to do a few laps after a hard day at work. The main drawback to it was that if you had more than 6 people in there at a time you were constantly bumping into each other. Along with the swimming pool was a sauna, steam room and jacuzzi which were excellent for a spot of relaxation. On the first floor there was a small hairdressers and beauticians which offered a variety of wax treatments. The gym itself had a wide variety of equipment. I am aware of weights, however, I typically stuck to the treadmill, rowing machine, step machine, cross trainer, exercise bikes. Each of these hjad headphone jacks so you could listen to a choice of local radio stations or the TV's of which there were four set to the far end of the gym.
