Advantages: great tone, superb action Disadvantages: None
screws on the tuners, two of them were a bit slack. They are unbranded tuners which look a lot like Wilkinsons.
The pickup is a bridge mounted open faced humbucker which delivers a powerful tone that totally belies the diminutive body mass. For such a small body the resonance and sustain is remarkable and the volume and tone controls are totally noise free.
Hofner have been making instruments since the 1880s and appear to have got the hang of it.
The shorty comes in a choice of three colours, red, black and blue. Mine is a turquoisey sort of blue which is very easy on the eye.
Playability is not at all compromised by the size, although I do recommend the use of a strap to aid support, even when playing seated.
For the price you can't fault this guitar. I would strongly recommend considering one of these if buying for a child ...
Advantages: No trailing wires, discreet, easy and quick to put on Disadvantages: bit expensive
The Slendertone flex is the latest in slendertone's range of faradic exercisers. The one I have is for the abdominals although they also now have a flex for the bum and thighs which you wear like a pair of shorts.

Mine was £145 although I think they vary a bit. However, I watched a really good demo on QVC and that convinced me to spend the money!
The new version is a wide neoprene belt with the contacts concealed. There are three sticky pads, one goes over your tummy button and one to either side ...

Advantages: Keeps you warm Disadvantages: A bit thin for winter surfing
Over all I was pleased with this wetsuit, its does the job and was redeemably priced.

Most Circle One longies make good summer and winter suits because they are thin enough that you will not get too hot in the summer but it is still bearable in January/ February, however it is still important to get one the right size because wearing one which is too small will restrict your movement and one which is too large will rub on your neck and chest. If you do own one which is only slightly ...
