review of the nike mercurial velocity asro trainers

Advantages: fashionable, light
Disadvantages: smell very bad, feel weird on your feet

i bought these trainers for football use on the astroturf. When i arrived an put them on my friends were really impressed with them. They are very fashinable and popular trainers. However they are comfatable trainers but felt weird on your feet and after a while they begin to smell and i mean smell they stunk out the whole house. but overall i would say they are descent trainers apart from the smell. They come in a different range of colours e.g lime green, forest green, pink, white, blue. They are an easy boot to clean, you just have to wie the outside with a damp cloth. The laces keep tiedand match the colour of the trainer. Due to the smell my mother has had enough and the trainers are now stored in the shed. So overall they are a decsent pair of trainers. ...

CAPITAL CÓRDOBA

Advantages: The Mezquita, the Jewish Quarter, the history
Disadvantages: The heat

Arriving in Córdoba, it's difficult not to be impressed as the Mezquita looms large on the horizon. It was founded by the Romans (not sure who losted it) in 169BC and because of its strategic position - the furthest navigable point of the Guadalquivir River, it developed into an important port. It was the Romans who constructed the massive bridge over the Guadalaquiver River, El Puente Romano. It consists of 16 arches (although none of the arches are Roman - but the bases are) and once formed part of the Via Augusta. It ...

Review of Cordoba

Cordoba - a very Moorish city

Advantages: Plenty to see and do, great seafood
Disadvantages: Gets terribly hot in summer, not cheap

Cordoba is a city I felt I knew even before I'd been; that's probably because it is home to some well-known historical sites and is a city that has made a big contribution to Spanish culture, most notably through the art of flamenco dancing and music. It is a city with a reputation of hot days and hot nights and there is nowhere that better encapsulates the many cultures that have contributes to the melting pot that is Andalusia. When thinking about cross cultural relations today, particularly in Europe, one should perhaps point out that Jews, Muslims and Christians lived in (relative) harmony for several centuries in Cordoba; the city in general and some of its major sights in particular illustrate the impressions successive and co-existing cultures have had on Cordoba. Cordoba was the "capital" of the Moorish kingdom of El ...
