...I got my leatherman wave after the kids bought me the micra and I found it to small to use. No such probs with the 'wave'. The quality of the product is fantastic and the safety mechanism of having locking blades is great. The only downside is the price which at over £100 is dear for a product that is easily lost. There is also an add on set that can be purchased for around £15 that containd driver bits etc. I dont have this add on yet but am planning on getting it soon. The knife also looks cool and I could have got it in silver or black - both looked great. Overall a good quality item, a must have for gadget lovers and even thirty-something women like me.... Advantages: Great design and build quality damping!

...Currently l am working with K2 on my uni dissertaion investigatingthe damping of snowboards and they kindly gave me one of these babies to test. Firstly l can say the from my testing there is definately evidence to back up the damping claims this is in the higher frequecny ranges which are to do with muscle fatigue, there is a really nice feel about the baord when you are riding it there is a nice degree of side-cut and this make it prefect for carving down the mountin. there are risers on the top to enable riders with large feet to use a narrower board and aviod heel or toe drag on the surface oft he snow. due tot he size of the board l found it very stable at pace and not at all twitchy.... ...Responds to some advice (sorry people if I get carried away, with features) 30/1/01 Thanks for the comments I hope this explains more about what the product is I should actually find a picture for everybody to see. The aerobak brief description - Its like those little havasacks women wear, about that size - its still a bladder based drinking device (i.e. its got a plastic bag that you can fill with water to drink whenever) cyclists use it to drink without the need for bottles these often get covered in muck from the road but I've seen walkers and climbers using them anyone basically anyone who needs to drink hands free can use one. This version of the typical bladder is more for road cyclists, "aero"dynamic smallish nice contrasting colours and good road visibility stripes. The other names , mule, rogue etc etc are just variations... Read review
