Advantages: You pays your money....., good for tricks, good value, looks cool
Disadvantages: A little expensive for beginners

...Two of my friends recently purchased Hot Buttered body boards and they are extremely happy. One at £90 and one at £80 seems a bit expensive but they have definitely noticed the difference. The boards are lighter, easier to turn and do tricks on. They are both Terminator T3s 10-90 (43”) and are Hot Buttered’s proven performers over three summers. The crescent shaped tail allows more control and acceleration through turns. The shape, build and weight also means more straight-line speed and thus more waves! The T3 also has the HB PE Diamond Core, apparently revolutionary in body board technology. See below for the science bit! This is a brilliant board, the difference is there and you will not be disappointed with the performance of the T3. Disadvantages: anti bacterial footbed could be improved and wheels should be of a better standard

...Well, since i got these skates in January, I have improved no end. I did have a pair of Oxygens and since trying the K2's I have realised how good they really are, although the soul space is not as wide as some of my friends skates i.e Salomons the lock on is excellent and grinding is super smooth. The skates feel very stable and strong yet relatively light. They are very comfortable due to the 'soft boot' technology and upgrades are relatively cheap. These skates can live indefinately with all parts being replaceable. The downside is that for a pro - skate I would have expected more from the wheels, as I would have preferred better ones for example 'Senate' also the anti - bacterial footbed is not particularly effective after several months of use (but that might just be my feet!) Advantages: Great design and build quality damping!
Disadvantages: non that l have found yet!

...Currently l am working with K2 on my uni dissertaion investigatingthe damping of snowboards and they kindly gave me one of these babies to test. Firstly l can say the from my testing there is definately evidence to back up the damping claims this is in the higher frequecny ranges which are to do with muscle fatigue, there is a really nice feel about the baord when you are riding it there is a nice degree of side-cut and this make it prefect for carving down the mountin. there are risers on the top to enable riders with large feet to use a narrower board and aviod heel or toe drag on the surface oft he snow. due tot he size of the board l found it very stable at pace and not at all twitchy....
