K2 V10 magma

Advantages: Great design and build quality damping!
Disadvantages: non that l have found yet!

...Currently l am working with K2 on my uni dissertaion investigatingthe damping of snowboards and they kindly gave me one of these babies to test. Firstly l can say the from my testing there is definately evidence to back up the damping claims this is in the higher frequecny ranges which are to do with muscle fatigue, there is a really nice feel about the baord when you are riding it there is a nice degree of side-cut and this make it prefect for carving down the mountin. there are risers on the top to enable riders with large feet to use a narrower board and aviod heel or toe drag on the surface oft he snow. due tot he size of the board l found it very stable at pace and not at all twitchy.... ...This is Five Ten's most agressive and technical slipper and is very popular among both sport climbers and boulderers. What has made this slipper so popular for steep wall climbing is its combination of a down-turned toe an d very soft midsole; making it sensitive and versatile. Many people are surprised to hear various hard gritstone slabs have been climbed in V10s, considering them designed for steep terrain only. However unlike most other slippers, the sole only stiffens quite close to the contact area. Support, however, is maintained due to its tight closure and very strong slingshot- especially considering the total lack of a midsole! In all, its hard to find a boulderer that doesn't rate this classic slipper. Anyone looking for sensitivity and power- this is the shoe. However dont buy them if your thinking of climbing... Advantages: if your lost in the woods you can hold em up to light your way out
Disadvantages: they are yellow, they aren't compatible with any parts from other manufacturers

...company wants their name to be seen on these skates. They are horrible and they fall apart after about a week of skating street. Unless you are 10 and you still get excited by bright colours there is just no need to waste £180 on a pair of these slippers. Do your self a favor and get a proper pair of skates. Oh I just though, how can you customise these? You can only put k2 parts on em so wave bye bye to Razors, Senate, 50/50, Kizer and Ground Control parts.... Read review
