Advantages: Great design and build quality damping! Disadvantages: non that l have found yet!
...Currently l am working with K2 on my uni dissertaion investigatingthe damping of snowboards and they kindly gave me one of these babies to test.
Firstly l can say the from my testing there is definately evidence to back up the damping claims this is in the higher frequecny ranges which are to do with muscle fatigue, there is a really nice feel about the baord when you are riding it there is a nice degree of side-cut and this make it prefect for carving down the mountin.
there are risers on the top to enable riders with large feet to use a narrower board and aviod heel or toe drag on the surface oft he snow.
due tot he size of the board l found it very stable at pace and not at all twitchy....

Advantages: Grippy, tough, long-lasting, good spares backup Disadvantages: Poor paint, watch those pins, needs flat soled shoes
...thing I like about this pedal, is that DMR produce a comprehensive set of spares. If it gets damaged, or worn then it can be repaired rather than having to throw it away and buy a new one. A new axle for instance costs a mere £3.99.
V8 versus V12
DMR also produce a more expensive version of this pedal - the V12. For nearly twice the price you get cartridge bearings, better sealing and chrome plating on the axle. The pedal body is identical for both models. Personally speaking, I'm not convinced that having cartridge bearings and a chrome axle is worth the extra £18, especially seeing as the V12 and V8 come out neck and neck in reviews.
The downers?
Paint. DMR are famous for having paint that flakes off easily, and the V8's are no exception. I had visible paint rub on a brand new set of DMR's on the very first ride...

Advantages: if your lost in the woods you can hold em up to light your way out Disadvantages: they are yellow, they aren't compatible with any parts from other manufacturers
...errrrrrrrrr, K2 250cc are horrible, for a start they are yellow. Whats that about? The soul space is tiny and they are mad fast on royales. Thats ok if your good at skating but if you've just started then you don't want to be falling on your head every time you try and learn one of the most basic tricks in the sport. I do not think you could possibly call these skates comfortable. Razors are comfortable, thrones are comfortable, these are like special shoes, urgh just disgusting. Then theres the softboot aspect, what is the point of making aggresive skates out of flimsy cloth. Every pair of these skates I see have big holes in the side and it just doesn't look good. Get some proper hard boot skates because you don't see them with big holes in the side do you?
And then you've got the wheels, K2 own brand because no real wheel...

Motorola Razr2 V8:
When this phone came out of the box, my first thought was 'WOW, that's fantastic!'. My second thought was 'If this works as well as it looks then I'm ecstatic!'. This is the first time I have bought a phone online without seeing it in more
