Say hello to the poor man's Coca-Cola...or should that be, the health-conscious man's Coca-Cola...Coke Zero.
Rather than the famous red packaging, Coca Cola Zero comes in black packaging, be it in the 330ml cans, 500ml bottles or bigger. It's been on sale since 2006 in the UK, and holds the slogan "Great Coke taste, zero sugar" it denotes that what you're drinking is going to be as close to the real thing...but 'good for you'. That's right, Diet Coke, take a bow but your time may have come...
What makes it better for you though? Well, that'll be the sweeteners, rather than the spoonfuls of sugar, which therefore mean 100ml of the stuff come to just 0.5 calories.
Now, and here's the controversial part - Coke Zero's stated ingredients vary in different countries. What we're drinking in the UK will differ to China for example ...

Advantages: Great smell, reasonably priced, calms my frizz! Disadvantages: Doesn't give 'zero frizz'!!

I can't agree with their statement of it being non-greasy as it does definitely have a light greasy texture to it but not so much that your hair looks as if you have had it in the deep fat fryer! It does however leave your hands feeling slightly sticky after applying it to your hair.
~ How much to use?
This took quite a few experimental attempts to get it just right. Initially I used too much and my hair looked quite flat, lank and needed washing the next day.
I have eventually got the right amount for my shoulder length hair, probably about the size of a 5p coin but not heaped up.
~ The effectiveness of this?
This is a hard one to comment on as I have found that it can be very hit and miss with my hair.
Sometimes it looks as if I haven't applied any zero-frizz pomade and after blow-drying, I still look like the wild ...
