...are normally only found in down bags. Ive only used this bag a few times, in the scotish highlands and in the north of wales whilst climbing in winter. Although i did sacrafice precious space and weight by opting for this bag, it did provide superb comfort and heat which was a well earned luxury after a hard day climbing. This bag was pretty cheap considering the product in hand. It was £90 from my local 'Outdoors' camping shop, and considering it gives better properties than some £200 downbags, i take it as quite a bargin. My bag came in some strange green colour which i think looks pretty ok compared to some sleeping bag colours. It came with an excellent compression sack which reduces the size of the bag by about 1/3 (shame it doesnt do the same for the weight.) ...Calling all travellers, have you heard about Eagle Creek. The product is even better than the company says. I didnt choose this product it chose me as winner in a competition. It is by far the best, most versatile product i have ever owned. As a dedicated Samsonite user up until now I just have to sing the praises of Eagle Creek. I recently took this item through the jungles of Venezuela a tough test for any luggage. The Switchback stood up brilliantly. ...for the groundsheet & inner tent. The bags do strap together to be carried as 1 but with a total weght of 40KG I would advise carrying them seperately! Coleman claim that their tents are rigourously tested to withstand rain & wind & we can certainly vouch that this model has passed. Our last trip was in gale force winds & torrential rain all night yet the tent remined totall waterproof & despite the terrifying flapping of the tent fabric we stayed firmly pegged down! All in all we we are very pleased with this tent, the roomyness, ease of erection & stability & is ideal for a family. The only downside as mentioned before is the lack of PVC windows, however the good points outweigh this.
