Advantages: Very very sturdy, easy to fix and fun to ride, great bearings.
Disadvantages: Quite heavy, not ideal for flatland.

I have not changed any of my spec on this bike, as soon I intend to sell it so I can build my own flantland bike. ...This new Kona Roast features a 7005 downhill alloy frame, a marizocci z5 fly lite air suspension, a drive chain consisting of a race face pordigy chainset and shimano deore LX front and back derallieurs, deore shifter, 9 speed cassette and XT cranks. Having bought this bike I was shiocked at just how good value for money it was, Wioth AVID V brakes and Tioga Down Hill factory tyres It handled like a BMX. This wasn't the first KONA I ever owned, owning a nunu a few years ago 'til I smashed the frame jumping. Even I won't be able to break this Roast frame. ...of the product at hand! I have always been a fanatic about keeping my bicycles clean and well tuned. From BMX to road, to mountain bikes, the key to enjoyment on two wheels is to make sure that the bike is properly maintained. Chain lubrication presents somewhat of a challenge (especially for bikes used off road or in harsh elements. Too little lube and you introduce friction and possibly corrosion, too much lube and dirt attaches itself to the chain and/or the lubricant flies all over the place making the bike a grimy mess. White Lightning is a wax-based chain lube that attempts to address this issue. It lubricates and protects the chain but also adheres well, without attracting dirt buildup. White Lightning is available in liquid or spray bottles. It also comes in a "Race Day" version. My experience is limited to the original formula in the bottle... Read review
