Advantages: Beautiful photos! - colour and depth Disadvantages: LCD screen needs a cover!!
...more and more hidden tricks Kodak has added to help with use (i.e press select also turns on LCD Screen, plenty of flash choices
CONS - 10sec delays when photographing and you need a memory card if you want to take more than 25 pics at once.
BATTERIES - I've read some reviews at other websites about the camera seizing on people but I believe it may be due to the battery they use. It is so drastic to stick to Kodak when using a Kodak camera and ... ...Ni-MH Rechargeable battery pack and Kodak Rapid Charger' it's the only way around forking out dollars after dollars. Also, with the first battery I had to fiddle a while, as it actually didn't fit as the diagram showed...weird but true! BUT it got there (upside down and the other way around might I say). lol. All in all, although the camera has some small fault/kinks Kodak needed to work out and by now probably has with new easyshare models I still ...

Advantages: Easy to use Disadvantages: Bricks are smaller
...went online and ordered a Kodak DC3215 Digital Zoom Camera, i got it at a good price (i think it was £149.....typical woman i hear all the men muttering!) It came from John Lewis.com and to my suprise it arrived only 2 days after I ordered it, when you live in Northern Ireland it's amazing to get a delivery less than 3 weeks after you've ordered it.
I was all excited, ripped the box open pulled the camera out and thought to myself well I had wanted ... ...really good thing about buying Kodak is their website, www.kodak.com, it gives you all the latest downloads for your particular camera, it shows you how to use your camera but i dont think anyone would ever need it because it is so easy to use a child could do it. And it also gives additional easyshare software which is fantastic, you can view all of your pictures which can be arranged by date order, title or most frequently selected photos. On this ...

Advantages: Simple, reliable performer Disadvantages: A bit slow and clunky
...from this Kodak so far. I'd also say it's a lot less confusing to operate than some cameras on the market! As a replacement for a low-end 35mm camera it works fine, but I would have to suggest that there are probably better models to be had for the price. ...

Advantages: Easy to use, great docking station and PC transfer Disadvantages: Average quality results and poor flash
I have a Kodak DX3215 which I use regularly to photograph items that I sell on e-bay and other online auction sites.
The great benefit of this camera is that it is so easy to transfer images from the camera straight to your PC through the handy docking station which came with it . No fuss, no hassle, just place the camera in the dock and the pictures are zapped to your PC straight away. For a technophobe like me, that's a real boon.
It's also great ... ...The macro function for taking crystal clear close-up shots is a real winner.
The disadvantages of the camera include a very poor flash mechanism which lead to variable picture quality results. Also, although it is a small irritation, there's no lens cover cap and no way to fit one, leading to difficulties in keeping it clean and the danger of scratching or damaging the lens. It's also a bit bulky compared to others on the market.
Overall, though, ...

Advantages: on board memory, camera dock, robust Disadvantages: flash not brilliant, as sleek as a tank
...probably upgrade. Of all the Kodak cameras I have had, they all have apalling flashes that couldn't illuminate a turned on light bulb. Also the lack of any video taking function is really annoying especially when you can use your screen as an instant video monitor, and it has a TV out socket. Look around for something better, and probably cheaper too. ...

An sxcellent and very compact bit of kit, the only drawback I have encountered is the design of the outer casing which lacks an easy and natural grip possition making the camera less comfortable in the hand than others I have used.
