...Ok, first things first, I have no idea why this is listed as a Kappa kit. It is made by Puma as Kappa made the older Thomsons kit. Right, now thats out of the way, on with the review.
Being a Spurs fan since 1981 I've had numerous kits down the years from manufacturers including Le Coq Sportif, Hummel, Adidas, Umbro and Kappa. All of these shirts at the time seemed great but only when newer styles come out do you realise the design flaws in them (the Kappa one for example was skin tight which looks great on a skinny Aaoron Lennon but not so on anyone like me with a bit of a porky belly).
Anyway, I decided to treat myself to the new Puma-Mansion kit in April of this year. We had had a good season and it had been a couple of years since I had bought the homeshirt. Being the end of the season I had a right game trying to locate one...

Care of the shirt is quite straightforward. From my experience, simply wash at 30 degrees on a gentle cycle with your normal washing powder. I don't bother with conditioner unless it's a 2-in-1 detergent. DO NOT tumble dry your footballshirts, instead hang them on a rack in a warm room or line dry them. Tumble drying of footballshirt material usually results in shrinkage and a lot of printed decals peel away in the heat of a dryer, even set at low heat. I usually wash a dozen or so of my footballshirts together, all different makes, colours and materials and have never had a problem when following these guidelines.

Advantages: Distinct colour, good styling, comfortable, good build quality. Disadvantages: Colour is not to everyones taste. Plain back if it's not got a name and number.
...is good, making both wear/removal and playing in it problem free. (Some other manufacturers shirts suffer from a neck that feels too tight or makes putting the shirt on a bit of a struggle even though it's the correct size.) The underarms and side panels are mesh so that you feel cool and the inside of the shirt stays airy, this also helps remove persperation quickly.
The material stays comfortable even when wet so on a particularly hot or rainy day, you won't feel like it's glued to your skin (a problem with the Kappa skin tight shirts) and it dries very quickly. It is also very durable and not as prone to nicks and pulls, unlike many Nike, Adidas and Reebok shirts.
