Advantages: Warm, designed specifically with children in mind, extendable Disadvantages: The toggles get in the way!
...We were going camping and taking the children for the first time. So we looked at kitting them out so that they would be comfortable and warm. One of the most important items, if you’re sleeping outside, is a sleepingbag. There’s nothing more miserable than being cold and uncomfortable, especially if you’re a child. Being cold and uncomfortable in the middle of the night when you’re sleeping in a strange environment is probably the worst of all. Even for adults. Both my husband and I have tried out various types of sleepingbag through the years and have learnt one or two things – never trust the manufacturers temperature ratings and buy the warmest bag you can afford.
To choose the right sleepingbag you have to consider several things – how warm you need it to be, where you are going to use it, whether it needs to be very...

...The Vango Predator 450 is a flagship synthetic bag packed with features to make this one of the best bags proving plenty of bang, for your buck.
"The Predator range of sleepingbags is designed for use at the extreme limit. Available in mummy or square. Predators will be used by experienced campers, mountaineers and expedition members who will only use the highest performance sleepingbag suitable for the most hostile environments. Highly compressible Dupont Thermolite Extra is used in conjunction with Thermolite Micro for the ultimate warmth to weight ratio."

Advantages: reasonably priced, looks good, works well Disadvantages: not for colder climates
...Slumbalux Leisure SleepingBag.
Brought this sleepingbag at a knockdown price on eBay, but by the time I'd finished paying the Postage and Packing costs, I discovered it wouldn't have cost me much more buying on-line direct, oh well.
It was brought for my teenage daughter to use on our camping trips, as she doesn't like the Mummy style sleepingbags, as they make her feel claustrophobic, also with this being open ended she was able to take her own pillow from home, which is a creature comfort for her.
Very nicely coloured in mainly Blues and Orange and patterned in swirls/ lines and Greek key style, very trendy looking, for the younger members of the family.
It's a 38oz Polyester filled bag, and Polyester/Cotton outer cover, un zips fully down one side, for ease of access.
Ideal for warmer camping climates and general family usage...
