...The Piute (also availble; woman\'s Piute) is a warm and cozy sleeping bag. Its price is a reflection of its quality and appears reasonable compared to other bags of similar specifictions. Its lightweight design is very useful for back packing or anytime that space is at a premium. It comes with a small stuff sack that it fits into neatly, although could be compressed further (not recomended for down bags, especially not for longer periods of time). The hood offers superb protection from the cold although it could possibly benefit from a second draw string baffle around the neck.shoulders area. However the drawstring around the top of the hood to enclose around the face is confortable and good at keeping the heat in whist allowing freedom of movement. ...Slumbalux Leisure Sleeping Bag. Brought this sleeping bag at a knockdown price on eBay, but by the time I'd finished paying the Postage and Packing costs, I discovered it wouldn't have cost me much more buying on-line direct, oh well. It was brought for my teenage daughter to use on our camping trips, as she doesn't like the Mummy style sleeping bags, as they make her feel claustrophobic, also with this being open ended she was able to take her own pillow from home, which is a creature comfort for her. Very nicely coloured in mainly Blues and Orange and patterned in swirls/ lines and Greek key style, very trendy looking, for the younger members of the family. It's a 38oz Polyester filled bag, and Polyester/Cotton outer cover, un zips fully down one side, for ease of access. Ideal for warmer camping climates and general family usage... Read review

...I've had this bag for about 5 years now and it has really withstanded the wear and tear it has come under: More than 25 weekends sleeping on bare ground, a month long expedition in south america and several bunkhouse trips. In that 5 years it has kept me remarkably warm. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone planning to sleep in temperatures around 0 degrees (C) as unlike the manufactures rating of extreme -5 i would say it is more like 0. It has also prooven to be very useful in warmer conditions, such as indoors, where the full length zip can easily be undone and the fact that there are 2 zippers on one zip means you can easily get some air to your feet whilst keeping your shoulders warm.
