Advantages: Size, waterproof - quick to erect for size - smaller to carry/load compaired to others. Disadvantages: Pole ropes dodgy(?), tricky to shut zip without adjusting pegs, need to tether v. well.

Generally we are pleased with it due to its size (family of four) - if the weather is rainy there is plenty of room. We used it last summer when the floods happened and it was also quite windy. It witheld the rain excellently - it is highly rainproof - another reason why we bought it.
On the negative side we have had the inner cables (ropes) go twice on ... ...and Khyam replaced the ropes with no hassle and no expense but I query if there is a weakness here. It can also be quite tricky to set up perfectly to ensure the zip closes on the front door again due to its size - this gets easier with practise.

On the negative side we have had the inner cables (ropes) go twice on the main poles. You can fix these fairly easily and Khyam replaced the ropes with no hassle and no expense but I query if there is a weakness here. It can also be quite tricky to set up perfectly to ensure the zip closes on the front door again due to its size - this gets easier with practise.
The only other comment is that when we used it in some quite high winds (floods again!) you need to tether it very well - it held well but due to its size (and the strength of the winds) it bends a lot in strong winds. It is advisable to get some 'diamond' pegs if you are going anywhere where the ground is soft/rocky/sandy.
Generally we are happy with it - there are more luxurious models around but you will pay for them.

Manufacturer's product description
A new addition to the range and if you think it looks like the Sunncamp Vario 6, you'd be right! The major difference is the price. The Colorado allows you to increase or decrease the size of your covered living area by allowing you to unzip the whole of the front panel of the tent and then re-zip in back in further inside the tent, thereby creating a veranda. Apart from the door in the front panel, there is also a side entrance with a generous sun canopy. There are also three large window panels with full privacy flaps. The single breathable polyester inner tent sleeps 6 but has divider curtains for a 2x2x2 arrangement. The living space is a full 4.2x4.0m with the bedroom inner and the front panel in location. Full living space groundsheet and steel porch poles included as standard. The flysheet is Weatherweave 2oz polyester with taped seams (giving 5000mm hydrostatic head protection) and the frame is of shockcorded fibreglass poles.
