I needed a new bicycle helmet and here is the foolish reason why. I commute to work by train and bike and put my bike in the onboard cycle store so I can ride it at both ends of my journey. I reach my destination on a cold Monday morning and go to collect the bike from the store. I notice my head is cold but that's because I had a mad half hour on Sunday and shaved all my hair off........nope, I've left my helmet on the train and its now pulling out of the station. What makes this worse is that it's not the first time I've done this (lost the lemet, not shaved the hair)!

The helmet I bought is an RST PC1 Sport 1950 which has a quick-release anti-scratch visor, a quick release chin strap, fully removable and washable lining, aerodynamic twin-scoop venting and meets both the EC2205 + ACU Gold standard.
The helmet is made out of composite carbon fibre outer shell with a polycarbonate visor, polystyrene inner with the usual foam padding for comfort weighing in at 1450g give or take a few. The carbon fibre outer shell is made highly polished with a very nice graphical design by RICH-ARTS Concepts.

Well i buyed this helmet in 2007,i am a freerider so i like to make big jumps and all that so i just think that for about 80$ cdn dollars i will get a nice helmet and i was right. This helmet its made from 100% Fiberglass so its light and well ventilated you have a fully adjustable forehead colling vents. If you like to be up to date whit specs, you should know that this helmet exceeds Snell 2000,DOT, ECE and AS standards.
