...I really like the brompton l3 bicycle and how it has the capability to fold up into a smaller bicycle that is able to be carried around to wherever you need, and does not need to be locked up. The ride is very smooth along flat roads which do not have any obstacles, but once these begin to appear, like off road, or bad road surfaces, the ride becomes very horrible. The seat sort of digs into the leg area, and there is so much vibration. The other problem is that it does break at the hinge points around the bike, and so costs money to repair, and it takes time to repair. But it is a good road bike so I do recommend it to buyers as it is generally very good for road purposes.... Read review

...is also a big help, and the sure-footed feel of the TCR adds additional benefit there. It weighs under 9Kg, so the majority of unnecessary weight is all on me. Heck, there' aren't even any mud guards (or space to fit them). The triple chain-ring provides a wide range, although it sacrifices all-out speed in favour of versatility with tooth-counts of 52, 42 and 30. The smallest chainring can come in handy on a steep climb. The 9-speed sprocket (from 12T up to 23T) means there is a total of 27 gear combinations, although the extreme combinations should be avoided. The ratios are close enough that shifting is smooth and is a great help in maintaining a steady pedalling cadence. ...on one of the neighbouring roads or, rarely, at the large car park at the Savacentre hypermarket, located a few minutes walk away at Bell Green. The leisure centre car park has 7 designated disabled parking spaces, right by the front doors, and also ample space for bicycles and motorcycles. GETTING THERE BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT: For those who don't live in the immediate vicinity, the nearest train station is Lower Sydenham, located a 5 minute walk away, south down Kangley Bridge Road. The area immediately surrounding the station is largely industrial and, should you be using the station in the evenings, please bear in mind that it may be a little dark and unpopulated.
