GERBER easier to clutch than use.

Advantages: Several tools in a compact package
Disadvantages: Fiddly, poor quality knife and cutter - pliers pinch skin.

...its use, so I took them off right at the start. Now to the various tools: Knife - This is a strong blade of about 4 cm useable length. Unfortunately it does not stay sharp very long even with light use such as sharpening pencils and cutting paper. It does however hone back to a sharp edge quickly. Nail File - Excellent surface, but rather short for more than casual use. Bottle opener/screwdriver - Opener works OK and the flat screwdriver blade ...

Gerber Shortcut

Advantages: size, price
Disadvantages: reliability, durability

I bought one of these to carry for general use. What I liked was that it was small and had a pair of scissors. The blade retainer also went and the blade now bends back too far to be useful. Once I had this problem I checked on the web to see if anyone else had the same issue and had managed to fix it. I found a lot ...

...company famous particularly for their Swiss Army Knife and a more than wide range of multi-purpose pocket knives, but besides these items they also produce a lot of top-quality kitchen knives and tools. However, they specialize in small, multi-functional cat's paws.
