A knife With A Point
Review of Victorinox Swiss Army Knife by
Massey42
Advantages: Sharp blades, expected host of features, Victorinox quality
Disadvantages: Reliability of electronics not proven
This review is for a Victorinox Altimeter Swiss Army Knife. It was bought as a present so although I do not know exactly what it was bought for I have had a quick look around on the internet and standard prices seem to be around £50. This cost surprised me at first but I suppose you do get what you pay for.
Before I tell you about my experiences with this knife I will quickly outline it's features, which as expected for a Victorinox Knife is sufficiently ... ...one button (this replaces the Victorinox symbol so is well hidden) which is a bit tricky to get the hang of as there are quite a few different lengths of presses to perform different operations, but once mastered works reasonably well.
15. (thermometer)
This works well (but does tend to warm up in your pocket), again it is controlled by the single button and can display Farenheight or Celsius.
16. (mini-screwdriver)
This is a really clever piece ...

Survival Kit
Review of Swiss Army SwissCard Lite by
jeaniecz
Advantages: small and compact size, durable tools
Disadvantages: tools may be too small for those with big hands
...company famous particularly for their Swiss Army Knife and a more than wide range of multi-purpose pocket knives, but besides these items they also produce a lot of top-quality kitchen knives and tools. However, they specialize in small, multi-functional cat's paws. Founded by Karl Elsener in 1884 this company has won great reputation and probably everybody has at least heard about a swiss knife or seen a small red pocket knife with a white cross ... ...blade, scissors and corkscrew!
SwissCard Lite is a flat (3mm thick) credit-card sized case containing 6 removable tools and 3 built-in tools that can be always handy to have in your pocket or handbag as it contains basic survival agents such as blade, light and pen. Now let's have a closer look at the smart things.
Blade - they also call it a letter opener, but I prefer a blade, since I believe 99.5% of humans don't really need a tool to ...

Swiss Army Huntsman Knife - Not Just For Hunting!
Review of Swiss Army Huntsman Knife by
Haxrskilz
Advantages: Plenty of tools, small size.
Disadvantages: Pricing could be considered steep, tweezers and toothpicks easily lost.
...to describe how useful the Swiss Army Huntsman Knife is. With a size being slightly smaller than an average male middle-finger, and yet still thinner than a thumbs width, it is no wonder that it is more commonly known as a the more popular 'Pocketknife' - a place where it is perfectly safe to hold, might I add. As with most items, the size has no impact on the innards of the instrument, although it is definitely helpful that it can slide neatly in ... ...in place.
As with all Swiss Army Knives, this comes with strong stainless steel and some dangerously sharp edges (Warning: Do NOT test these on your skin. It will cut!).
*Tools*
This version of the Swiss Army Huntsman Knife comes with (usually) sixteen features, although this can vary. All of tools are indefinitely useful, and will cut through just about most things without breaking into a sweat. The tools include: - Bottle opener,
- Can opener,

Review of Leatherman Charge Ti Multi-Tool by
copester69
Advantages: Well Built, Does what it says on the tin.
Disadvantages: Umm.... I will get back to you.
...is ready. Leatherman Customer Service also works well as they soon emailed me back when I had a query about how to store the product. The only worry I had was the initial price but having seen the Charge, I was convinced it was well worth the money. The Charge does everything I ask of it and more. It works. ...
