Advantages: A very wide range of features Disadvantages: Doing too much causes the battery to die quickly, Poor Camera
The T-Mobile G1 is my first foray into the world of smart phones. Previously a keen Sony Ericsson Walkman phone user, I wasn?t too sure how I?d adjust to such a dramatically different phone. Honesty, I adjusted quite well. The G1 takes a bit of time to get used to but I don?t regret my decision.
Appearance and Design
The G1 has a rather simple design. It has a 3.2 inch screen and is 117.7 mm in length, 55.7 mm in width and 17.1 mm in thickness. Below the screen is a menu button, answer and cancel call buttons, a back button, a button tacking you back to the home screen and a trackball. Beneath this row of button is space for the phones? 1GB memory card. The G1 features a QWERTY keyboard (making writing anything so very quick and simple) which you can access by easily sliding the screen across, this also changes the orientation ...

Advantages: Android Market, Google Maps Disadvantages: Design, Unresponsive Screen, Bad Keypad Layout, Bad Battery Life
I have been due for an upgrade since September, but am still waiting for the release of the phone I really want, I rang up to see if there was any release date set for it but was told there was still no date set, but would I like to charge the T Mobile G1 instead?! I said I'd prefer to just wait but the sales guy said I could try it for 7 days and if it wasn't to my liking, I could send back and there'd be no difference in my account status, so after a bit of persuasion, I agreed.
The phone is the result of a joint partnership between T Mobile (operator) and Google (operating system), however the actual handset is made by HTC who regularly make phones to be rebranded by ...

Advantages: Large apps range.Full qwerty keyboard as well as full touchscreen with option for touch keyboard Disadvantages: Easy to get damaged. Too bulky and a dreadful battery life
Google's android phone the G1 is a great phone at first, many features to keep you entertained for hours. It flips out to its side of which the screen then rotates and you have a Qwerty keyboard to use. I especially like the feature of the qwerty keyboard because it makes texting and surfing the internet much easier and simpler.
There is a large range of applications to use, both free and some that can be charged for. I stuck with the free range. Even those are quite interesting to use such as "Shazam." If you start this app you can play a song next to the microphone and it comes back with result of the song name and producer as well as a links to buy the song on Amazon or listen to it on Youtube.
I think this may be a competitor against the iPhone due to its touch screen which uses the same technology as the iPhone where it senses ...
