Advantages: light weight, durable, comfertable, great control, good price Disadvantages: not many very chuncky and the grip broke soon on mine thats it basically.
The kookaburrakahuna carnage short handle cricketbat, in my own experience is an excellent cricketbat. It is a good long lasting bat that is light weight and very powerful, I got my kookaburrabat in about Christmas time 2005 and it has had no problems what so ever. This bat a very durable piece of wood and it is perfect for small matches to big county matches or even a good practice. The bat is also very light weight making it very easy to hit the ball with a good amount of force but many people would think this would break but as I said before the bat is very durable and could easily with stand a large amount of force, Making this bat a cricketers dream, for me it was and still is great to handle and use. the bat is also very comfortable to hold and has great control. ...
havinng owned the bat for the last two seasons and using it almost religiously in this time i feel my review is a good benchmark for looking into buying this cricketbat. The new kahunacricketbat was realeased prior to the summer o 2008. The kahuna range is very high profile within cricket with pro players using the range such as Australian captain Ricky ponting.
I was drawn to the big kahuna by the promise of a big middle and a huge profile on the bat that will still have great handling and pickup, i was skeptical at first as it was a rather cheap price of £89.99 which for a big bat is bargain. When the bat arrived i was amazed at the sheer size of the blade itself , people were even commenting on the thickness of the edges and middle. The bat weighed in at 2 pounds and 11 ounzes which is alot of weight to throw around in a bat but ...
Advantages: Value for money Disadvantages: Not the best quality
I recommended this bat to a brother of mine, a beginner, with not much experience of the game.
I recommened this bat because of its value for money, as a junior or beginner, you don't want to be paying too much money for a bat, as it is all about fun, and not being too serious.
As for the bat itself, you get what you pay for, you know when you pay around £20 your not going to get the best bat ever, but for a junior or beginner to the game it would be excellent due to its durability and weight.
The bat my brother bought still exists now, well worn but he still uses it to this day, around a year or two ago when he bought it, he likes it and hes picky!
In review i recommend this bat to all it fits, and i hope this has helped you all in the search of a new cricketbat.
