Advantages: light weight, durable, comfertable, great control, good price Disadvantages: not many very chuncky and the grip broke soon on mine thats it basically.
The kookaburra kahuna carnage short handle cricket bat, in my own experience is an excellent cricket bat. It is a good long lasting bat that is light weight and very powerful, I got my kookaburra bat in about Christmas time 2005 and it has had no problems what so ever. This bat a very durable piece of wood and it is perfect for small matches to big county matches or even a good practice. The bat is also very light weight making it very easy to hit the ball with a good amount of force but many people would think this would break but as I said before the bat is very durable and could easily with stand a large amount of force, Making this bat a cricketers dream, for me it was and still is great to handle and use. the bat is also very comfortable to hold and has great control. ...
Advantages: Durable, Light, comes pre-knocked in Disadvantages: Weak Toe
The Kookaburra Ultimate Belta, the name says it all. I've previously owned kookaburra bats, but this is the meatiest and lightest one I have used. It looks nice yes, but the most important thing about this bat is that it feels comfortable to use and performs well. It is the most reliable bat I have taken to the crease with me in my 12 year career, it has lasted me almost 18months for use both indoor and outdoor against red/white cricket balls in matches and red/yellow balls in the bowling machine. ( At speeds varying from 50m.p.h to 95m.p.h) The only down side to this bat is its toe, but all bats have weak toes. If you catch it at the bottom of the bat it will vibrate through quite alot. Overall, a solid - value for money bat. ...
Advantages: Very good quality bat, with a very good middle Disadvantages: Slightly heavy
What a piece of wood, eh? That was my first impression when i saw this Kookaburra Ultimate Belta. This chunk'a wood is sure to scare off all the bowlers and sure to impress your team mates as you walk back into that dressing room, glancing behind you and seeing the score board with your name on it: 100 not out. And you cannot help but smile. The Ultimate tucked safely under your arm, you walk off, quite pleased with yourself. Job done!
On a rather more serious note and going away from such reminisces, the quality of this bat is second to none. It is well worth its price and will leave you with memories that will last you a life time. I would highly recommend this to any cricket player of any ability. ...
