Advantages: Durable, Light, comes pre-knocked in Disadvantages: Weak Toe
...The Kookaburra Ultimate Belta, the name says it all. I've previously owned kookaburra bats, but this is the meatiest and lightest one I have used. It looks nice yes, but the most important thing about this bat is that it feels comfortable to use and performs well. It is the most reliable bat I have taken to the crease with me in my 12 year career, it has lasted me almost 18months for use both indoor and outdoor against red/white cricket balls in matches and red/yellow balls in the bowling machine. ( At speeds varying from 50m.p.h to 95m.p.h) The only down side to this bat is its toe, but all bats have weak toes. If you catch it at the bottom of the bat it will vibrate through quite alot. Overall, a solid - value for money bat....

Advantages: Very good quality bat, with a very good middle Disadvantages: Slightly heavy
...What a piece of wood, eh? That was my first impression when i saw this Kookaburra Ultimate Belta. This chunk'a wood is sure to scare off all the bowlers and sure to impress your team mates as you walk back into that dressing room, glancing behind you and seeing the score board with your name on it: 100 not out. And you cannot help but smile. The Ultimate tucked safely under your arm, you walk off, quite pleased with yourself. Job done!
On a rather more serious note and going away from such reminisces, the quality of this bat is second to none. It is well worth its price and will leave you with memories that will last you a life time. I would highly recommend this to any cricket player of any ability....

Advantages: a really nice middle Disadvantages: Kashmir Willow
...LOOKS
This Bat in my view is one of the best looking bats around and has not got to much pictures on the bat like the Kookaburra angry beast. I think the blue and red go very well together and really look good. Even the grip fits in with the style having blue slashes on it done by "the beast". The beast itself is not overdone but it still noticeable from a distance. I think the fact that the wood is unbleached giving it a more white effect looks better for it's style than a darker wood. I love the looks because you can really show the bat off and not worry about being seen bating with it.
POWER
The middle on this bat is awesome you can hit a cricket ball miles and you really know when you have caught it right. As for the bat itself it is very forgiving of bad shots and has a lot of power. The bat has great power considering it is only...

It was my birthday last week and for it my bestest friends in the whole wide world (well they are now anyway) bought me the back2back Bruce Lee feature – Dragon (The Bruce Lee Story – starring Jason Scott Lee – no relation, I think) and more
This movie is another good Chan film...sounds cliché (i know). However I always mean what i say. Jackie chan shows that he can do action, romance, comedy (obviously slapstick) all in one movie. The friendships and father-son relationships are well... more
