Kool Stop Campy C89 Road Pad Inserts

Advantages: Excellent performance in wet/muddy conditions, rim friendly, good wear rates
Disadvantages: Pricier than the competition

...Kool Stops patented plough tip. On the leading edge of the pad (i.e. the part that contacts the rim first), the pad has a raised edge. Its job is to act like a squeegee, cleaning muck of rim surface, allowing the brake pad behind to grip onto a clean rim. This feature also helps reduce rim wear by cleaning off grit and other abrasive particles. To further improve wet weather performance the pad has 2 triangular cutaway sections which work in a similar fashion to the grooves in tyre tread which force water to the outside of the tyre allowing the rubber to grip the road surface. How do they Perform? In the dry, you won't notice much difference between a Kool Stop pad and a good quality pad of another manufacturer. I certainly can't. Advantages: quality and value
Disadvantages: none really!

...Obviously with the high amounts of pressure and heat which travel through brake pads and the almost implicit faith which you have to place in them when cycling you need to trust your brake pads and know that if you need to stop they’re going to have the performance there to help you slow down as quickly as you need. I've used the Kool Stop's for many years and have never been disappointed once by the value or quality and would even admit to sometimes being surprised that they ‘still’ don’t need replacing even when I cannot remember the last time I did. I use disk brakes on most of my bikes these days but the ones which do continue to use rim brakes will always use Kool Stop pads… Really impressed and would most definitely be my highest recommended rim brake pad...... Advantages: Light weight, at times you may even think that you are not even wearing the pads. great!!
Disadvantages: The price may be thought to be a little steep but its up to you if the quality is as important as the price?

...If your looking to buy a new pair of cricket pads then look know further you've found the pads that you desire with there light weight fell and extremly comfortable padding these are the pads that may be able to change the way you play and help you to score the runs that will help your team to win. Wait does that sound stupid, yes thought so but its the truth, when i was looking for some new pads i brought these pads not expecting anything, but that was were i was wrong. My luck has changed and i'm now not only bowling well but i'm actually being noticed as a batsman, and isn't that what everyone desires. With these amasing pads theres no need to worry if there's a fast bowler steaming in at the other end and your getting ready, hoping for the ball not to hit you on the pads because of the pain it will cause.............. then stop...
