Pro evolution soccer is in my opinion the best footballing game ever created and i have played all of them from the PlayStation one, all the way up to the x box 360 and PlayStation 3.
The game itself is legendary but on the PlayStation 3 it is very poor compared to how it is on the x box 360.
The game play and graphics are much better on the x box 360 and i would recommend you not to waste your money on the game for play station 3, i would rather buy an x box and buy the game for that and play it.
Some people dis-agree with me but i have been playing this game my whole life so i guess you can take my word for it, buy it on x box not ps3. ...

OK, here is is, for me, and as a guy who plays both Pro Evo and Fifa, i was looking at this game as can it beat fifa? can it beat it in gameplay, graphics, freedom of play, etc.... the simple truth is that the game can be anything you want it to be. you can work your way up from the bottom, be your own team, your own player, your own manager, play your way, your style, and the game brings this to life in spectacular fashion. i always felt that the first touch in pro evo was never what fifa made it, but 09 seems to have brought this up to speed. it doesn't cannon off as quick, and quickness of turn is much sharper, and the gameplay improves from that. what i did do though, was play it full throttle, big screen, surround sound, the full nine yards. this was key. it was all there, as mentioned, but you want the feeling of being there. you ...

As with any other Pes game, Pro evolution 2009 is an enjoyable and exciting football game. For the Pes purest, there is no question that Pes 2009 is the greatest football game available.
The gameplay remains loyal to the Pes format, with game modes such as master league, international cup and training. New features however, include the challenging yet extremely awarding 'be a legend' mode which allows the gamer to control the career path of an individual player, controlling only this player in gameplay.
For followers of the Pes series, however, Pes 2009 is frustrating. Online gameplay has been improved yet remains poor and laggy in comparison to its main rival, fifa 2009. Similarly, FIFA 2009 provides many more online features, although these do require extra purchases to be made.
