(+) Size, waterproof - quick to erect for size - smaller to carry/load compaired to others. (-) Pole ropes dodgy(?), tricky to shut zip without adjusting pegs, need to tether v. well.
Whichever size of Calgary you choose you are getting a lot of tent for your money, an inner dome that pitches first, a throw-over flysheet that offers not only a generous porch area but also a back door with sun canopy door. Now with porch windows!
Advantages: Does the lot. Disadvantages: Not a lot.
...in for it’s service... My VR3 even copes with all the drool that people persist in leaving on it after handling!
DEVELOPMENT
I think it ought to be mentioned, though, that this is, in effect, a version 2. Kev brought out his original VR3 some time ago, which went through several evolutions before this design became his latest progeny. It is only through the support and interaction with one’s customers that service or products can be improved. Delta P’s appeared to have done it. The new VR3, like its predecessor, also has the CCR O2 sensor port option, which I intend to look at in the future. I know of many CCR divers have asked for computer integration with rebreathers and this one neatly bridges the gap. The computer, in effect, will be able to sense what you’re breathing. This makes its decompression calculations that bit more precise...

Advantages: very strong yet light with good feel Disadvantages: Can be a handful in tight swims
...I always considered 3lb TC carp rods to be too heavy duty for 'normal' carp fishing situations. Sure they could bang out a large method feeder 90 odd yards but surely the feeling would be lost when playing the fish?
I originally stumbled across a pair of the Fox Extreme rods whilst looking for a pair of rods for an up and coming trip to France. I went to a local dealer to ask for something heavy duty that wasn't a fortune. The intention was to use these rods purely for my trips abroad and nothing else.
I was showed the Extremes and was instantly amazed at how slim and light they were. They also felt very well balanced. In addition they were a nice matt grey finish and looked quite stylish - I thought how good they would look on my pod.
The dealer offered me the pair for £150 since he had vast numbers that were not shifting...

Advantages: Very easy to fold and good to ride Disadvantages: Not fantastic at off road
...I have a Brompton L3 that is now approx 3 ½ years old. I use it everyday to commute to work - I cycle to the station, fold it up and take on the train and then cycle the other end about 1 ½ miles to work.
I love the bike and although it was expensive I think it has been good value for money considering how often I have used it.
It folds up easily and quickly and so many people are amazed when they see it folding. I have found that it is so small when folded that I manage to keep it under my desk at work.
I have bought one of the front panniers and it was a great decision. I can keep work papers (and my handbag) in it and when I take it off the bike to say go into a meeting, still looks relatively professional.
I have found that the tyres puncture very easily unless you keep the tyres pumped up (you really need to check...
