...Apparantly Posh Spice does 200 sit-ups a day...has she not heard of the Slendertone Flex??
I am a fairly energetic young lady, with a clothes size of 14 on top and 12 from the waist down....makes buying dresses a nightmare, but heh that's another story. So while not possessing a big tummy I am prone to the horrid "folds" effect around my waist. A tight top may look nice when I am standing up tall, but when I then sit down and everything accordions together it tends to ruin the effect. And although all of us are prone to folds when we sit down (apart from the 11 supermodels amongst us in the world) I tend to be fairly paranoid about it and sit with my arms firmly crossed so as to lessen the appearance of the folds (though lending myself a rather stern, non-approachable demeanour I presume!).
After visiting my fiance's folks last...

Advantages: Such a simple idea - nothing to remember or buy batteries for Disadvantages: Setting clearances of magnets is fiddly
...You know how you read about something for the very first time, and then, suddenly you're confronted with the same thing in real life, as if it's been there all along, implying that you've been walking around with your eyes wide shut all this time?
I've had two such revelations in the past few weeks, both occurring in the same 24 hour period. One was to see the picture of a headteacher's husband on the wall of her office (I was borrowing her office to talk to year 6 kids), only to come home to watch the programme about the Great Storm of 1987 to see his face on TV, as one of the Kew Gardens tree experts interviewed.
The other, whilst at the same school, was to read the ads on my CTC (Cycle Touring Club) magazine to espy the Reelight SL 120 lighting system on the back cover. The next day, outside the same school, blow me there...

Advantages: cheap, beautiful countryside Disadvantages: groups are too large (although I did go on Bank holiday)
...the yard that galloping would be a much quicker way of getting home. I assured him that the centre was approved by leading equine safety organizations and so off we went on the Saturday of the last Bank Holiday weekend. Three friends of ours had joined us on a well needed long weekend escapade from stressful London.
We were a group of five; 3 experienced riders, 2 novices, but we were joined by a large group of touring South Africans, all trying riding for the first or second time. Maryanne and Sian were our ‘tour leaders and sorted out riding hats for those without, then a brief instruction was given to the beginners on the very basics of getting on and holding the reins etc, before we were matched up with our mounts for the day. I was paired with a small lightweight chestnut called Rhys, who was friendly to humans but quite ferocious...

It seems you can never underestimate the levels of tedium movie producer’s force on the public. Here in Shelter Island it seems that they figured the presence of two 1980’s stars would be enough to float this boat, unfortunately they picked Ally Sheedy... more
'The Day of The Jackal' was written by Frederick Forsyth and is the second novel of his that I have read, the first being the 'The Fourth Protocol'. The thing that I wondered at the end of both novels is, how can this be fiction.

I can remember about ten years ago collecting "Neighbours" stickers in the playground and Beth Brennan, aka Natalie Imbruglia, being seriously hot property. Whilst us girls were keen to add any character, even the likes of Harold and Lou, to our precious more
