...the flat-lock seams are very comfortable next to the skin - I have not found this to be the case; the seams around the neck and top of the shoulder get extremely itchy as I get warmer. I tend to wear the top inside out; as is it a base layer and has no sewn labels (they are printed) on it, this is not a big problem. # 5.11 claim the fabric is wicking and quick drying - I don't know how good the wicking is, if I am sweating, my skin is wet, the 5.11 t-shirt is wet and the layer on top is wet too, strikes me that I would be in the same situation with a less high-tech garment. But, I must agree that the fabric is quick drying; you don't have to worry if it will be dry in time after you wash it. Overall, this is quite a good garment, but does not seem to match all of the manufacturers claims.... Read review

...Ask any diver who chooses to take his diving holidays abroad what their main gripe is and I bet you that it will be the excess baggage charges that they are subjected to by those money grabbing, crap food serving, can't fly in a little bit of fog, pirate airline companies who target the poor underpaid UK diver desperate for water temperatures that do not shrink your assets like taking investment advice from Nick Leeson does. For some reason certain airlines do not class diving gear as sports items and do not allow any additional baggage allowance unlike golf or skiing equipment, some airlines do and I love them to bits but to be honest even an extra 5kg does not go any way near compensating someone for having to carry a full diving kit plus clothes for a week hence on most of my trips to Egypt I do not take anywhere near seven days... ...First things first - the actual name of the product is: Mares Lirica Tech Black! Not that I'm trying to be difficult - but I thought I'd be accurate! I was looking for a mask which fitted me well without the need to perform a power inhale just to get it to fit my face: this mask fits the bill perfectly. I actually discovered the Lirica range whilst flicking through the Mares catalogue and thought that it looked like a stylish bit of kit to own... oh like so many divers, don't I base my decisions on the most important aspects! Anyway, having gained an interest in it, I obviously wanted to try it for fit - so, a couple of days later - at the NEC dive show, I tried on a foul looking yellow version and asked the people at the stall if they had the tech black... to which I was replied "sorry mate, they don't make it in black" - hmmm, having...
