Advantages: Easy to inflate. Good value. Portable. Very comfortable. Disadvantages: You need an electricity supply for inflation.
...The Aerobed comes in various guises - single, double and king size and raised (at normal bed height) or as a stand alone mattress. Prices range from around £50 for a single mattress, to £140 for a raised king size bed.
All the beds come with an integrated pump, which inflates it automatically in just a minute for a mattress or three minutes for full size version. Unfortunately, this requires a mains electricity supply, so it is not ideal for camping, unless you have access to electricity. There doesn't seem to be a foot pump option included, which would be a useful extra.
I would recommend this bed wholeheartedly, however, as a spare bed for guests, or even as your main bed. It is incredibly comfortable and comes with its own valance. One advantage over a traditional bed is that, if you need the extra space in your room, it can...

Advantages: Very comfortable, easy to inflate Disadvantages: Bit large for little old ladies, bit smelly when new
...did!! The argument went on a bit longer as me and my brother argued over who would have to share a bed with nan - he lost and I got to sleep with mum!
The following day dad said his back and shoulders hurt him so bad that he was going to buy a camping mattress to sleep on as he couldn't stand another six nights of torture on the floor(he does exaggerate). That morning we all traipsed out in the car again for another hour, to find a camping shop. It wasn't very big and there wasn't great deal to choose from in the way of mattresses, but we found one we liked the look of, and the picture on the box made it look like it would be very comfortable once it was inflated.
The particular one we bought was a Coleman raised quick bed large single mattress. It was reduced from £42.99 to £34.99 but dad needed to buy a pump to get it to inflate...

Advantages: Great in the mud Disadvantages: wear quickly when used on the road!
...In my opinion, a fantastic tyre and one which I have used several times in the past...
Specialized make a superb range of tyres and there are very few that will disappoint and the Evil Twin has to be one of my favourites.
The name, 'slalom' suggests the tyres potential use but I cannot comment on this as I've not really used it at all for slalom purposes, nevertheless, what I have used the tyre for is hardcore off road riding in gloopy mud, they’re fantastic in my opinion. The 'spikey' well spaced nobbles mean that they cut through nicely on to the harder surface beneath the mud, the well spaced nobbles mean that the mud clears relatively easily and the narrow (ish) 1.9' carcass means that there’s not too much resistance when mud plugging.
Not great for use on the road as they'll wear down fairly quickly and 'buzz' a lot...

I grew up with this album, it's the soundtrack to my childhood. With rockers for parents it was never expected for me to be your average teenager, listening to rap and other up to date things like that. My earliest memories are of Journey, being blown... more
