I first came across the Lateral Thigh Trainer on an infomercial on Sky. It was priced at £89.99 + p&p. I thought it was too good to be true. I hummed and aarghed about it for a while. I happened to mention it to a woman I worked with at the time, and she had bought one, but didn't wat to keep it.....so I bought it from her for £50.00. When I first got it home I couldn't wait to have a go and see what all the full was about. Yes it's a stepper, but not any ordinary stepper. To me it feels like you are gliding. You go up and down, but side to side at the same time.
I started off by doing about 10minutes, as I found it to be quite tiring, but I gradually built up to about 30minutes. For those who are a bit queasy, don't read this bit.....YOU DEFINATELY SWEAT using this machine.
There are 7 levels between slow and fast. The fast is for more of a cardiovasculor work out and the slow is for a more toning work out. I vary between each.
After about 3 weeks, I could tell I had been doing some exercise as my legs felt firmer and looked more toned.
The stepper is quite heavy, so for those who have back problems be careful when moving it or lifting it. (As with all exercise equipment, seek advice from your GP beforehand)
The Lateral Thigh Trainer concentrates on the following areas:
Bottom Inner/outer thighs Hips Stomach Arms
The lateral thigh trainer comes with a casette/dvd, an attachment to help work out the arms and information from Brenda Dygraf.
Strides per minute.....counts how many strides you have done Time.....counts how long you have been working out Calories.....how many calories you have burned Auto scan.....shows details of everything
I try to use my lateralthigh trainer at least twice a week for 30 minutes per work out and even after a couple of years I can still tell I have had a work out on this machine.
It is very good for cardio and for toning
Interested in buying this product, shop around on the internet, as I think a couple of places are still selling at £89.99.
Definately worth a try.....I would recommend
