Advantages: Great tuition and safe Disadvantages: Parking could get a problem
.... There is a drive which shares access to a number of properties, currently the old stable yard is being converted to residential houses however a new set of state of the art stables have been built which provide a far superior living space for the horses.
The centre is blessed with some great facilities for riding, it as a number of fields for the horse to be put out to pasture, on one field a set of show jumping fences have been set out and on another steeply sloped field there are cross country style fences. In addition the stables have a large outdoor school that is 20m by 60m and an indoor school which is 20m by 40m and has mirrors at either end. Both schools have the facility to set up jumps so that both flat and jump lessons can be catered for. Advantages: Impressive, clean, well equiped and luxurious. Mixed and female gym, free towels, good range classes. Disadvantages: Can be very busy at peak times, especially the pool.
...I have been a member for 3 years now and find it to be one of the more desirable gyms in Nottingham. It is very well located on London Road, Trent Bridge, which means it is very close to town but not at all difficult to get to like some of the more city based gyms. It has it's own private CCTV carpark, where you will find many an expensive sporty car, porsches, mercs, BMWs etc, which I find very reassuring as I have had my roof slashed at another gym recently. The bar serves healthy juices with boosters and shots and is very health orientated.
Being female and often going on my own I make full use of the ladies only gym and the classes...

Advantages: Plenty of equipment, classes, and a great view Disadvantages: Cost, location depending on where you are
...The Esporta at Salford Quays is probably one of the best in the Manchester area in terms of cleanliness, service, appearance, and equipment. It is lacking mainly in size of the pool, and perhaps location, but the location depends on where you live, so it may be very convenient!
The fitness area includes two levels of machines for
Cardio: stationary cycles, sitting cycles, rowing machines, treadmills, step machines, and a variety of other equipment like elliptical trainers.
Weight machines: bench press, leg press, shoulder machines, arm machines, and a variety of specialized equipment for hamstrings and tummy exercises.
Free weights: all the necessary weights and bars you could need.
Stretching/fitness ball area: a floorspace with area for stretching, using small freeweights, or fitness balls.
Spin room: enough room for maybe 30...
