Advantages: Great price & fair all rounder Disadvantages: Tyres are poor in mud!
...I have owned a Tyax Elite for about a year, the bike is a great road bike and entry on level off roader. This MTB would be perfect for the summer rider that uses mainly pre-set routes which are mainly hard packed. The Acera gears are made by Shimano, although not high spec do shift up and down cleanly and are reliable if lubricated. The frame is stiff and gives the ride a good feel but is heavy! The rest of the bike is tuned quite well and handles almost everything you might throw at it, the only real weak point might be the front forks which have jammed after repetitive compressions, any one thinking of buying one should do so with confidence, but after a while of riding you might want to up grade the forks as the last think you want is a front shock that doesn't absorb bumps. On a final note the bike comes with Kendo tyres which...

Advantages: probably one of the best boards on the market Disadvantages: Won't except anything less than full throttle
...: Directional Multi-Beam Design – This shape allows you to carve it up but won’t let you down in the park.
Sidecut: Bi-Radial – The side cut of a board refers to the curve of the ‘waist’ of the board. If you were to create a full circle out of the curve then this is the sidecut expressed as the radius of this circle. The timeless is bi-radial meaning two different sized circles go to make up the side cut. So when you go into a turn its nice and smooth but when you leave it the tighter radius gives you and extra kick!
Construction Features:
37° Misty 2+ Con – Cap: This refers to the way the board is made. Ride boards tend to have the pieces which are non-critical to performance cut out to make the boards lighter and this gives them a characteristic look. The 37° angle refers to the way should be ridden, right up on its edges and fast...

Advantages: A amazing ski to many adavntages.A perfect ski for any ability. Disadvantages: NONE
...Well I bought these ski's at Snow and Rock in Sheffield and when I first used them in the half pipe (carving, steeps, new school, race there good for all) they were really responsive and the stiffness add's to the excellent qualities. Then I took them to Val Thoren at Easter and one cruisy blue's and reds they were so responive and had such a great turn radius and on black runs and off piste they are so agile. The price is perfect I got mine for £200 and put some off my own bindings on. They are a wonderful ski for intermediates, and experts alike. Carving, speed, off piste, crusing and new school there great. Definatly worth considering for this sesaon.A must buy for any improving skiiers.
