Advantages: countless features crammed into a strong compact multitool Disadvantages: pricey
I work as a female technician, and a multitool is an absolute must for me in my line of work and it is widely known that leatherman is the industry standard that is known for its durable and practical multitools. The charge is the top of the leatherman multitool family, and it has a pretty heft price tag to match. It is worth every penny! I have had mine for three years, using it on a daily basis and it is still as good as new! These tools come with a 25 year guarantee too, and you can send them back to be sharpened properly if they blunt at all. ( I have made use of this service , and it is very efficient. )
The tool is compact, and comes with a belt pouch made of thick durable leather. It includes a massive collection of tools which I have listed below;
- S30V Stainless Steel Clip-point Knife
- 420HC Serrated Knife ...
Advantages: Huge range of functions. Modern and striking looks. Lockable feature. Disadvantages: reasonably hefty and bulky

It has just about every function you could wish for including knives, a saw, pliers, bottle opener, can opener, screw drivers (philips and crosshead) and a couple of things that I haven't even been able to figure out yet! It just cries out that you are a real king of DIY and have lived in the woods for years...
All these features do come at a cost though, although financially it is in my opinion excellent value the unit is quite bulky and indeed heavy. It is not something that you throw into your pocket and forget about. It does however come with a useful case that slips onto your belt.
One excellent feature of the Gerber Suspension MultiTool is that all the tools are fully lockable so there will be no more cuts as the knife snaps shut on your finger ...
