want to do a body test. It will then ask you how heavy the clothing is that you are wearing (you are given three options of light, heavy or other which allows you to input the weight of them). The body test tells you to stand on the board with your legs apart while it weighs you and monitors the position of your centre of gravity. It then shows you how your centre of gravity has moved during the weigh-in in comparison to where it should be! Advantages: Easy way to keep fit. Disadvantages: Can't think of any.
Last Christmas, my mum (a.k.a. "Santa") got the family a Wii Fit - hinting at my sister and I that we need to keep fit. I'm going to admit, I'm a bit fat. Now, I'm not one of those people you see in documentaries who can't get out of bed because they're huge but I could stand to lose a stone or two. There are 15 muscle toning and 15 yoga poses available. There is a variety in the poses from breathing to ballet like poses, standing still etc. The muscle toning focuses on core and legs. There are squats and lunges for legs, planks for abs but no crunches i(a major disappointment). There are slow pushups for shoulders and chest. One can always perform some drills using dumbbells.
The aerobic and balance exercises always add to the fun quotient. Aerobic games include wii spots like boxing, jogging in a virtual park, the hula hoop games, step dancing, etc. The 6 minute boxing is the most ...
