Life Fitness Fit Series Leg Press/Calf

Advantages: Superb Build quality, simple to use
Disadvantages: A bit too expensive for such a simple piece of equipment

...Unknowingly, Life Fitness have achieved a sexual divide with the Glute Press as having worked in a number of gyms, I rarely see any males actually using this piece of equipment. Perhaps it is the female predisposition for smaller butt that means blokes can?t actually get a look in! Irrespective of this apparent user guideline of being ?female?, the glute press is once again another exceptional mainstay of the Life Fitness Signature series. Before we go any further, lets take a look at who your buying from and what to expect from the Signature Series. Advantages: A great improvement on Wii Fit
Disadvantages: You need to be self motivated to stick with it

...in a yellow circle to show your balance is correct for the exercise. The poses are challenging for a beginner like me and what I particularly like is that you are rated for all of the exercises on the balance board so that you can see how you are improving over time. When I first started I really struggled with the ones where you need to balance on one leg but after a month I am finding them much easier and I am much better at retaining my balance. One thing that Wii Fit tells you is that as you age the lower body gets weaker and that as the lower body is essential to support the upper body you need to work at keeping your fitness in this area. I am noticing a difference in my balance in my daily life and I am trying to make sure I practice balance when dressing and drying myself after a shower and I know I am improving. I find... ...On to the second piece of Life Fitness equipment I will be reviewing this week, the Life Fitness Signature Lateral Raise. This is one of my favourite pieces of kit and in my opinion creates the best gurning faces out of all the kit in the gym (lol). Apologise to those that have read my other review regarding the signature series, there is an element of repetition regarding the company details and signature series, but I prefer to keep it in for new consumers as it highlights who they are buying from and also the uniqueness of the signature brand.
