Light & Motion mobile is a perfect start for your little one

Advantages: Educational, relaxing, good from birth, very good volume control
Disadvantages: Eats batteries, expensive, preset volume too high, doesn't like rotation interrupted

worried about when I first saw them. The little slide and click noises they make are actually quite rythmic and relaxing. The top disc had a butterfly in the centre in a sort of stained glass effect. The parts of the butterfly and the sections between it and the rim were filled with different coloured water and would move around as the disc spins. The disc sits below the light so this was a nice visual for my son. You can use the mobile in different settings depending on whether you want music, mobile or light. You can also remove the mobile once your child can reach up and pull on it (which plays havoc with the rotation motor) and turn it into a music box only. The music choice has 2 pieces of classical music and one piece with nature sounds (there was a loudish bird cheep in the middle which never bothered my son but would be noticable to ...

Review of Tiny Love Symphony Light & Motion Mobile

Compare Light-and-Motion to Symphony-in-Motion

Advantages: Volume Control (including mute), Fits cots with chunky end panels.
Disadvantages: Heavier. C cell batteries. Expensive.

I owned the Symphony in Motion Farmyard Animals mobile, but the motor stopped working so I returned it. They (babycity - who were very helpful about the return and refund) weren\'t expecting new stock for 2 weeks, so, as I use the mobile to babysit while I shower, I nipped out and bought this one instead. This is very similar to the symphony in motion mobile. The main diffrerences (that aren\'t obvious from the product descriptions) are: 1) This one has a light, so it is quite a bit heavier, and takes C batteries (rather than AA) 2) This one has several volume settings, including mute (Hooray! And I mean Hooray Hooray Hooray!) though it always starts at the same volume so you have to adjust it every time. 3) Different composers - and the Debussy tune comes with \'nature sounds\' which drive me crackers. I actually ...

The Energizer Battery Charger

Advantages: Good value for money
Disadvantages: Takes a long time to charge batteries

with three plug pins but these can be rotated to enable the charger to be used in the USA, it will not however fit into a standard European socket. Therefore if used in Europe it will be necessary to use a separate plug adaptor. One of the downside of this charger is that it does take quite a long time. In fact to charge just two of the four AA type 2500AH batteries that this charger comes with will take over eight hours. These batteries can be recharged over 1,000 times making them excellent value for money. Overall I think that is a nice little battery charger that was definitely well worth the money. Recommended. Thank you for reading. ...
