Advantages Makes a good scratching post
Disadvantages Two likits can be eaten quickly
This is a bordom breaker which fixes to the wall, not one that dangles from the ceiling of the stable.
This is a ball which fits in a bracket screwed to the stable wall, it has 2 slots one either side of the ball to fit 2 little likits. The theory is the pony spins the ball around and licks the likit.I have found with my Shetland that she can balance the ball so that she can chew the likit and gouge it out with her teath even when i only put one likit in the holder. Two little likits last her one night. Expensive and not good for her teath.
Also she uses it as a scratching post and protrusions in stables are never really a good idea Other more nervous animals could catch head collers or rugs on this and either rip it out the wall or harm themselves.Wouldnt really recommend i think on hindsight these are gimmicky and more aimed at the owner rather than the benefit of the horse.
