Advantages: strong, lasts for ages (the bottle) Disadvantages: can sting, melts plastics
...I bought this repellent prior to an expedition to Venezuela and my opinions about it are mixed. The manufacturer claims that one application will last approximately 8 hours, but most environments where repellent is necessary it is very hot and therefore sweating reduces the effective 'repelling time' of the spray. However the main problem i encountered was the harshness of the spray, it can really sting your skin and if you have sensitive skin i strongly recommend you to avoid this. Another problem is eyes and nose, if it gets near any of these, it can be very problematic as one of my friends discovered (it can damage your lungs). An example of how strong this spary is: it melted my plastic pen, and as a word of warning it can do that to garments to. With all its disadvantages it does have its up sides: the small bottle of 100ml lasts...

Advantages: strong enough, value for money, not that smelly Disadvantages: Not strong enough for serious jungle work
...I bought this product this year after previously owning the 100 deet repellent, which is far stronger. However i will have to say that if i had the choice against i would definitely buy the 50 instead and for the following reasons:

Advantages: We didn't get bitten Disadvantages: can't be used in tropical areas
...Boots Insect repellent spray
With a Little Miss who seems to be loved by flying biters, I tend to take as many precautionary products as possible in the form of lotions potions and sprays when we go on our jollies.
~~WHO IS THIS FOR?~~

~~WHAT DOES IT DO?~~
Protects those under the influence of the spray from mosquitos, midges and other flying insects, so if it does work, then this has got to be good news.
~~PRODUCT AND PACKAGING~~
The product comes in a 125ml plastic aerosol spray can with all information and directions for use on the back. There is a lift off plastic lid so no danger of it spraying randomly...
