Yeah! Everyone says that they want the room - well you do not get that much extra and not always where you need it. Yeah! Everyone say for off- road driving - well I doubt whether one in 50 owners ever do any at all.
So why do we want one. Well, if you like the neighbours to know you can afford one, that's a plus for starters. If, on top of that you have children and the wife can use it to take them the 300 yards or so to school just for the hell of it and, of course, to cock a snoop at the neighbours even better.
Now that diesel fuel is as expensive as unleaded you don't have to look a cheapskate at all.
