Manufacturer's product description
The KEO Carbon is Look's new generation of clipless pedal. The pedal body is carbon injection moulded to make it lightweight and extremely durable it also has a low profile, so your foot is closer to the axle helping to give a direct feel to the ride. The axle, covered with a lifetime warranty, has been redesigned making it lighter and stronger. There are three bearings within the pedal to give a super smooth revolution. Not only has the pedal been redesigned but also the cleat. Looking similar to a standard cleat it has been reduced in size and features bi material, which decreases the friction when engaging and releasing. Total weight of each pedal is 95g for Titanium axles.
Advantages: Style, Robust Disadvantages: Limited feature set
...manufacturers.
++ Cheap plastic becomes smooth metal
Unfortunately, until a couple of years ago, they solely manufactured 'functional' HRMs that all looked like cheap 70's digital watches in black plastic. However, Polar seemed to realise that gym users were getting more style conscious and were probably also fed up changing between a 'gym watch' and a 'day to day watch'. They therefore introduced the more wearable 'M-series'.
I chose the M71Ti model from this range primarily because of it's looks, though on the feature side it's not too shabby either. But, lets set the record straight, the M-series aren't going to appeal to everyone - they are not aimed at serious athletes who may want to download a full heart rate profile to their PC for instance (Polar has other HRMs that will do that as well as integrate with a cycle computer...

Advantages: Solid Feel / Price Disadvantages: Could use more hi-tech gadgets
...Regarding the basics, the Horizon Ti 22 is quiet and has a solid feel. The LED monitor has a variety of settings and modes that allow me to adjust my workout.
The width of the unit is comfortable, so I don't feel as if I'm going to tip over or stumble when I walk.
The most important aspect to the entire unit is its solid feel. I weight 180 pounds, and when I run, I didn't want a machine that bounced, which will increase stress on knees. This unit provides the support I need to feel safe running even at speeds of a 7-minute mile.
The cup holder is pretty basic, and I would have rated it excellent if it had a dvd player like some of the others I looked at, but for the price, you can't go wrong.
Overall, if you're looking for solid build, reasonable price, and if you can forego some of the more expensive gadgets...

Advantages: Light, cheap for titanium Disadvantages: Small racket head
...I purchased a TiS2 about a year and a half ago as I needed a light racket after injuring a hand in a footballing accident and the TiS2 was one of the lightest rackets around together with the TiS6. Most people in the club were going for the TiS6 which has a larger head and thicker frame.
I find the racket easy to use and can handle all types of shots both with power from the base line and delicate touches around the net. I have only just replaced the strings after 1 and a half years.
As newer rackets are now coming on the market the TiS2 is now an excellent choice as they can be picked up for near the £100 which is pretty good for a titanium racket....
